The Government is Giving ₹50,000 Shagun – Here is the Full 'Rajshree Yojana' Guide

Reading Time: 5 Minutes (Worth ₹50,000, so read carefully!)

Namaskar!

In our country, when a daughter is born, half the people say "Congratulations, Goddess Lakshmi has arrived," and the other half starts calculating the expenses for her marriage. It’s a bitter truth, Guru. But what if we tell you that the government has made a plan to take care of your daughter’s expenses from her first cry in the hospital till she passes Class 12?

Yes, we are talking about the "Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana" of Rajasthan.

If you are from Rajasthan and have a little angel in your home (or are expecting one), this scheme is your lottery ticket. The government is giving a total of ₹50,000 in cash, but not all at once. They have divided it into installments to ensure you educate her properly.

Confused? Don't worry. Sit back, sip your chai, and let us explain the whole ganit (math) in simple desi language.

What is the 'Rajshree Yojana' Actually?

Think of this as an incentive. The Rajasthan Government (initiated by Vasundhara Raje and continued because it’s awesome) wants two things:

  1. People should stop killing girl children before birth (Female Feticide).

  2. Girls should study at least up to Class 12.

So, they attached money to every milestone of her life. You get her vaccinated? Take money. You send her to school? Take more money.

Eligibility: Kaun Hai Haqdar? (Who can Apply?)

Before you run to the E-Mitra, check if you fit the bill:

  1. Rajasthan Native: You must be a "Mool Niwasi" of Rajasthan.

  2. Cut-off Date: The girl must be born on or after 1st June 2016. (Older kids missed the bus, sorry!).

  3. Two Child Limit: This scheme is valid only for the first two daughters. If you have a third daughter, she won't get the benefits (Installment 1 & 2 might be given, but not the education ones usually).

  4. Institutional Delivery: If the delivery happened at home with a 'Dai Ma', you are NOT eligible. It must be a hospital delivery.

The "Kagaz-Patthar" Checklist (Documents)

Keep these documents ready in a plastic folder. You will need them again and again:

  • Jan Aadhaar Card (Most Important): Without this, nothing moves in Rajasthan.

  • Bhamashah Card: (Old, but if you have it, keep it).

  • Birth Certificate: Get this made immediately from the hospital/Nagar Palika.

  • Mamta Card (MCP Card): The green card used for vaccination tracking.

  • School Admission Certificate: For the 3rd installment onwards.

  • Passbook Copy: Of the mother or the girl child.

  • Mobile Number: Linked to Aadhaar.

How to Apply: The "Jugad"

You don't need to run to Jaipur for this. Here is the process:

For Installment 1 & 2 (Birth & Vaccination):

  • Usually, this is automatic if the delivery is in a Government Hospital. The ANM or ASHA worker fills the form.

  • Make sure your PCTS ID (Pregnancy, Child Tracking & Health Services Management System) is generated. Ask the nurse: "Sister ji, PCTS ID ban gaya na?"

For Installment 3 to 6 (Schooling):

  • This is done via the School.

  • When you admit your daughter to Class 1, tell the Headmaster: "Sir, Rajshree Yojana ka form bharna hai."

  • They will upload the details on the Shala Darpan Portal.

  • Private Schools? Generally, this scheme focuses on Government schools for education installments. Check the latest notification if RTE students in private schools are included, but primarily it's for Govt school students.

LallanTip: Don't Get Scammed!

  • No Agent Required: No one can "get this passed" for a commission. It’s a direct bank transfer (DBT).

  • Check Status: You can check the status on the Rajswasthya or Shala Darpan website using your Id.

Conclusion

So Guru, if you have a daughter, treat her like the queen (Rajshree) she is. The government is handling the fees; you just handle the love and care. Use this money strictly for her future—make an FD or buy her a laptop, don't spend it on household ration.
